Was your septic system impacted by the recent floods and now requires pumping? You may be eligible to have your septic disposed by your septic waste removal contractor at a discounted rate.
Attend your Local Council office and present the Relief Card that you have been issued by the Relief Centre. If you have not been issued a Relief Card you will need your council to verify that your address is within the flood affected area.
Local council will then authorise and issue a form to be attached to the cartnote of your septic waste removal contractor. Your septic waste removal contractor will present this at the Bolivar or Christies Beach Wastewater Treatment Plant for disposal. You should see a reduction in costs incurred for disposal of your septic waste, in-line with SA Water’s normal charge of $38.77 for each kL for septic waste disposed.
You may be eligible if you live in a flood affected area outside of the City of Playford or Adelaide Plains Council areas. If you live within the City of Playford or Adelaide Plains Council areas please contact your local council for this service.
