Near the township of Spalding in the southern Flinders Ranges, Bundaleer Reservoir is currently stocked by RecFish SA with Golden Perch, Silver Perch, Murray Cod and Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout. See RecFish SA’s website for more details.
Bundaleer Reservoir was built between 1898 and 1903 to supplement supplies from Beetaloo Reservoir. It was designed to supply water to Snowtown, Redhill, Brinkworth, Narridy, Blyth and Port Wakefield.
Capacity: 6.37 gigalitres (one gigalitre is one billion litres), that will fill more than 3,000 Olympic swimming pools
