Aldinga Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade

Aldinga Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade

What is the project?

We are undertaking works to upgrade our Aldinga Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project includes the installation of new inlet works and the removal of treatment bottlenecks.

Why is it important?

Our Aldinga Wastewater Treatment Plant’s drainage area has experienced extensive growth in the last fifteen years. An upgrade is required to ensure the capacity and performance of the plant is adequate to accommodate the immediate and long term treatment requirements of the area.

What can I expect?

The majority of construction work will take place from 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday, however some Saturday work may be scheduled.

During work hours those closest our site may notice work crews in the area, and some temporary noise or dust associated with the works.

How long will it take?

Construction is anticipated to commence early March 2018 and take approximately 15 months to complete. This timeframe may change in the event of poor weather conditions or technical constraints.

Where can I go for more information?

Local residents and businesses will receive further notification about the works before construction starts.
