Waikerie Network Water Quality Upgrade

Waikerie Network Water Quality Upgrade

About the project

We will be undertaking changes to the network in Waikerie with the project aimed at further improving the quality and reliability of water supplied to the area.

Works will involve construction activities at various locations between the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) on Cliff Street and the elevated storage tank on Burns Street.

Expectations and timeline

Works commenced in April 2019 and are anticipated to be completed within four months. This timeframe may change in the event of technical constraints. Standard construction hours are between Monday to Friday 7am – 6pm and traffic management will be in place during these times to ensure the safety of our work crew and the community.

SA Water and its contractors are committed to keeping construction impacts to a minimum. However during construction local residents may notice work crews in the area, and some temporary noise, dust or odour associated with the works.

More information

Local residents and businesses will receive further notification about the works before construction starts at each site.
