Bundaleer Reservoir

Near the township of Spalding in the southern Flinders Ranges, Bundaleer Reservoir Reserve is currently stocked with golden perch, silver perch, Murray cod and rainbow trout and brown trout. With a fishing permit, you can drop a line in the from the shoreline in the fishing zone, or from a kayak or canoe. Bundaleer reservoir was built between 1898 and 1903 to supplement supplies from Beetaloo Reservoir and supplies water to Snowtown, Redhill, Brinkworth, Narridy, Blyth and Port Wakefield.

Today, Bundaleer reservoir is offline facility only, no longer supplying drinking water. Its maintained only as an emergency water source in the unlikely event of a major failure of the Morgan-Whyalla pipeline.

We currently don't monitor this reservoir's volume.
